Why are you a part of CU Café?
I am a part of CU Café to make the campus a better and more welcoming place for people who find it difficult to be here, and to hang out with awesome, smart, socially conscious people at the same time.
Research and/or career interest:
I currently study the homeostasis and neurotransmitter functions of zinc in hippocampal neurons.
Long-term professional goal:
I would like to leverage my training to work in biotechnology, science policy, or the non-profit sector.
What do you like to do for fun?
I like to cook, play board games, walk, and hang out with my wife and son.
What is your favorite science adventure?
It’s an adventure every time I put cells on a microscope, not knowing what I will see. More often than not they are beautiful.
